ABOUT
HISTORY
In the current political climate, cyber bullying is now on the national stage. Children of all ages will model this behavior if we do not stand against it now. Everyone needs to take ownership cyber bullying.
We are a coalition of social work students working to reduce the negative effects of cyber bullying. Reaching out to the community, we raise awareness through our website and Facebook page. We do this by identifying the causes and symptoms of cyber bullying and highlighting statistics. Our online presence provides a safe place for victims and families to educate themselves and share personal narratives.
Our support of CA legislation highlights our advocacy in this area. Cyber bullying, like other human rights violations, harms our children; some of which never recover. We advocate for laws that punish the perpetrators of such violations.
